    Hi Tito,

I, Maki, looking to move to Arusha at the end of June- however, many people told me it was too dangerous for me there and I should not go with my mom- how do you find it? Is it too dangerous for you?

    • Hi Marie, Sorry for the delayed response! Have you moved to Arusha yet? I would say that Tanzania is about middle-of-the-road in terms of safety in Africa. Rwanda is much safer, while Nairobi is generally more dangerous. Generally, as long as you take precautions, such as not going out after dark, not carrying valuables on you, and finding a safe/reliable means of transportation then you will be fine. Also, you absolutely must live in a home with a guard. Let me know if you have any other questions!
